The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) is a catalyst for advancing education worldwide. As a global not-for-profit and membership association, CASE’s mission is to inspire, challenge, and equip communities of professionals to act effectively and with integrity to champion the success of their institutions. Headquartered in Washington, D.C. with regional offices in London, Singapore, and Mexico City, CASE has 85,000 members in 82 countries advancing education in over 3,600 member institutions. The organization spans broad and growing communities of professional practice, currently including alumni relations, development services, digital, communications, fundraising, government relations, marketing, and web.
In 2018, CASE launched AMAtlas to its membership after market research indicated the majority of advancement leadership support a more data-driven direction while 63 percent of advancement staff are not routinely utilizing data to make well-informed decisions. 86 percent of institutions surveyed identified the need for an independent organization to serve as a comprehensive resource for advancement-related metrics, benchmarks, and analytics. Responding to this crucial need, CASE developed AMAtlas as a global resource.
