Since its incorporation in April 1921, Martha’s Vineyard Hospital (MVH) has been committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate medical care to every member of the Martha Vineyard’s year-round and seasonal community, as well as all who visit there. MVH plays an essential role in the life of the Island, and continuously is listening, learning and looking for solutions to help the Hospital achieve its greatest potential in delivering excellence in patient care.
Martha’s Vineyard Hospital (MVH) consists of a 25-bed nonprofit, critical-access hospital located in Oak Bluffs, MA, and Windemere Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (WNR), located on the hospital campus. In 2007 to expand this scope of patient care, MVH joined Partners HealthCare as an affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital, providing island residents access to the services, resources and expertise of a world class medical center.
MVH’s provides care to all, regardless of their ability to pay, in an atmosphere that fosters respect and compassion.
