Delaware Valley University
Doylestown, Pennsylvania

More than a century ago, Delaware Valley University (DelVal) opened its doors as an agricultural college in eastern Pennsylvania. Today, DelVal stands as an academically rigorous interdisciplinary teaching university focused on science and liberal arts. Sited on more than 1,100 acres, the university honors its roots by offering an outdoor classroom for several fields of study including an arboretum, a farm with 150 tillable acres and grazing pastures, and a living laboratory space. DelVal offers more than two dozen undergraduate majors, as well as six master’s programs and a doctoral degree, all adhering to the mission of experiential learning, integrating theory and practice, and encouraging lifelong learning. DelVal has been featured on U.S. News & World Report’s list of best northern comprehensive colleges more than a dozen times, and has been included on the Princeton Review’s “Best in the Northeast” list for seven consecutive years.
