The Institute for Advanced Study (IAS), established in 1930 and home to Albert Einstein, Robert Oppenheimer, Kurt Gödel, among other luminaries, is one of the international community’s leading centers for curiosity driven research. 30 permanent faculty members, 220 visiting scholars (“Members”), and an alumni body of more than 8,000 scholars has yielded 33 Nobel Laureates and 41 of the 56 Field Medalists.
