Striving to provide a full range of healthcare and
supportive social services for all who live in or visit the eight outermost
towns of Cape Cod, Outer Cape Health Services (OCHS) serves its residents
regardless of their ability to pay and meets their primary, preventive, and
urgent medical needs. OCHS is affiliated with the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical
Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, and operates three
centers, a dental clinic, two pharmacies, and dozens of services and programs.
Grants and donations from generous individuals, businesses, and foundations are
critical to bridge the gap between the cost of providing care and the payments
received for services.
