The University of New Hampshire combines the living and learning environment of a New England liberal arts college with the breadth, spirit of discovery, and civic commitment of a land-grant research university. UNH Development is part of a fully integrated advancement enterprise which combines development with Alumni Relations, Communications and Public Affairs, Advancement Relations, Advancement Services, and Finance and Administration. A skilled and passionate team of development officers builds private support for the university to ensure student access and affordability, enhance local and global learning, foster faculty excellence in teaching and in research, reward intellectual enterprise and develop new infrastructure. Gifts come from a variety of sources including alumni, friends, corporations, foundations, and volunteer-support organizations. UNH raised more than $45.7 million in private support last fiscal year and over the past five years, our endowment has grown from $130M to $197M.
