Lindauer is proud to be included in the 2024 list of Top Search Firms for Women of Color issued by Women of Color in Fundraising and Philanthropy (WOC).
The WOC list recognizes search firms that have demonstrated a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, particularly in recruiting and placing women of color in leadership positions in the nonprofit world.
“We are honored to receive this recognition from WOC, and we are fortunate to partner with nonprofit organizations that are committed to building cultures that value and respect diverse perspectives,” said Faith Montgomery, Vice President and Managing Director at Lindauer. “In activating their commitments, these organizations provide the necessary support for everyone to make meaningful contributions to the workplace and drive mission impact. This is critical for women of color, who historically have so often been denied access to advance their careers—or to pursue them in the first place.”
“Leading organizations are making intentional efforts to understand and mitigate the unique challenges facing women of color in leadership roles,” said Chandra Montgomery, Director of Lindauer’s Equity and Inclusion Practice. “WOC creates opportunities for the nonprofit community to engage in dialogue about these challenges so they may be more widely known and understood. As an executive recruiting firm committed to advancing equitable and inclusive practices in the philanthropic sector, we are proud to be part of this work.”
WOC compiled its 2024 list of top search firms based on an extensive survey of its members. Survey respondents were asked to answer questions covering various topics, including their experience with recruiters, the extent to which the search firm facilitated a successful placement, and post-placement relations with the firm.
Lindauer is a leading executive search and talent management firm serving mission-driven, nonprofit organizations. Since its founding in 1997, the firm has grounded its approach to recruiting in a deep commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
