Friends Seminary, celebrating its 238th year, is New York City’s oldest continuously operating K-12 coeducational school, fostering a diverse community of over 800 students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Rooted in Quaker values, the institution places a strong emphasis on integrity, equality, simplicity, community, service, and peaceful conflict resolution. The school’s educational approach, grounded in the Quaker belief in the Inner Light, guides students to engage with the world around them and work towards creating a better future.
