The Foundation is governed by a 31-member Board of Directors and collaborates closely with MUSC’s leadership to strengthen the University’s impact.
The Opportunity
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a visionary and innovative leader to serve as the Vice President of Institutional Advancement (VP), a role that will shape the future of fundraising and philanthropy for one of the nation’s leading academic healthcare institutions.
As the VP, you will lead a team of 80 talented advancement professionals—including gift officers, marketing specialists, and donor relations experts—all committed to advancing MUSC’s mission of improving health and wellness across South Carolina. This is a chance to create and implement bold, transformative strategies that drive impactful philanthropic growth and deepen connections with donors and community partners.
With an annual budget of over $20 million and oversight of $100 million in annual fundraising, the VP will be instrumental in leading MUSC into an exciting new era of philanthropy.
