The Opportunity
UMass Dartmouth seeks an Associate Vice Chancellor for Development (AVCD) to provide strategic leadership and innovation in philanthropy. The AVCD is a key leadership role, responsible for spearheading major gift and annual giving efforts.
Reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Advancement, the AVCD will work closely with the Chancellor and university leadership to cultivate philanthropy that drives the institution’s four core priorities: Recruitment, Retention, Research, and Reputation.
As a member of the Advancement senior management team, the AVCD will lead a team of dedicated professionals and develop high-impact fundraising strategies to support UMass Dartmouth’s mission. With a focus on alumni engagement, donor cultivation, and local community relationships, the AVCD will be instrumental in growing the University’s philanthropic support.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic and visionary leader to make a significant impact on UMass Dartmouth’s future by advancing its mission through innovative fundraising and philanthropic initiatives.
