The Opportunity

Hawken School is seeking a Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) to lead and drive the School’s comprehensive fundraising and advancement initiatives. The CAO will play a vital role in preparing for an ambitious capital campaign aimed at advancing the School’s mission and supporting ongoing campus and programmatic developments.

The ideal candidate for the CAO role will bring substantial experience in development leadership, demonstrated success in securing major gifts, and the vision to execute an extensive capital campaign. This individual will join Hawken at a pivotal time, contributing to a dynamic and collaborative environment that values innovation, community, and a holistic approach to philanthropy. Drawing on a track record of mentoring teams and engaging high-level volunteers and stakeholders, the Chief Advancement Officer will take the School’s fundraising programs and alumni relations to new heights.
