The Opportunity
Serving as a vital leader within the UCLA Extension organization, the Assistant Dean, External Affairs will help shape the future of education for thousands of working professionals, career changers, and lifelong learners.
As part of a visionary leadership team, the Assistant Dean will oversee all philanthropic efforts as well as efforts around alumni affairs, government and community relations, events and outreach, and strategic communications – leading these teams to work collaboratively to raise awareness and secure support for scholarships, programs, and new opportunities.

By engaging alumni, corporate partners, and community stakeholders, the Assistant Dean will drive innovation, build robust external relations programs, and contribute to transforming lives through education and professional growth.

The salary range for this role is $150,000 – $190,000 (commensurate with experience).
