The Opportunity

Stony Brook University seeks an entrepreneurial and visionary leader to serve as the inaugural Associate Vice President of Marketing and Constituent Experience (AVP). This is a pivotal role within the Advancement Division, tasked with creating and implementing a unified vision for marketing and constituent engagement.

The AVP will report directly to the Vice President for Advancement and will be a key member of the senior leadership team, driving strategy for fundraising campaigns, alumni relations, and special events.

The incoming AVP will have the unique opportunity to join Stony Brook at a time of significant momentum and growth. The AVP will lead efforts to enhance the lifelong relationship between Stony Brook stakeholders and the university, aiming to increase overall engagement and philanthropic support.

The salary range for this position is $260,000 – $275,000
