The Opportunity

The Director of Alumni and Parent Engagement will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining a metrics-based alumni and parent program that supports the mission of both the Advancement Division and the College. Reporting to the Vice President of College Advancement, the Director will provide strategic oversight and leadership to the Alumni and Parent Engagement Office, managing a team of three, and will play a crucial role in the upcoming comprehensive campaign moving into the public phase this fall.

The successful candidate will be a creative and collaborative leader with a proven track record in evaluating and enhancing programs to meet the needs of diverse constituencies. Prior management experience is essential, with a preference for experience in an educational setting or similar environment.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to build and strengthen relationships between the College and its alumni and parent communities, driving engagement and support for Hampden-Sydney’s mission and goals.
