St. Benedict’s Preparatory School, founded by the Benedictine Monks in 1868, has a rich history of educating and empowering students from diverse backgrounds. Over its 156-year history, the school has evolved from serving the children of German and Irish immigrants to embracing a multi-ethnic student body that reflects a broad range of socioeconomic and faith backgrounds.
The school’s emphasis on community, student leadership, mental and emotional wellness, and experiential education has situated St. Benedict’s as a national model of education. Today, St. Benedict’s serves nearly 1,000 students, primarily of African American and Latino heritage, in K–12, offering elementary, middle, and single-sex boys and girls prep divisions.
The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative, data-driven fundraising professional to be part of a dynamic team at a mission-driven, independent school. The Director will work closely with the Senior Director of Advancement to build upon existing strategies and develop new initiatives to secure vital operating funds.
As St. Benedict’s strengthens its advancement efforts, the Director of Annual Giving will play a pivotal role in supporting the success of its next campaign. This role involves the creation and execution of direct mail and digital solicitation strategies, as well as the development of alumni engagement and reunion programs.
The position is ideal for someone passionate about supporting a diverse community of students while fostering long-term donor relationships.
