The Opportunity

King School is seeking a Director of Development and Alumni Relations to lead its development and alumni team through an ambitious capital campaign and beyond. This role requires a seasoned professional with experience working with highly committed board members, parents, and alumni, and a proven track record of successfully securing six- and seven-figure gifts.

The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for the unique nature of independent schools and a desire to contribute to a community focused on preparing students for success in college and beyond.

As the chief development officer, the Director will oversee all aspects of fundraising and community engagement initiatives. Reporting directly to the Head of School and collaborating closely with the Associate Head of School for Advancement and the Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications, the Director will ensure strategic alignment across the institution.
