DetecTogether is a mission-driven 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to transforming cancer detection and saving lives. With a focus on early diagnosis, DetecTogether empowers individuals to recognize the signs and symptoms of cancer, become active participants in their healthcare, and act when needed. Their innovative 3 Steps Detect® program combines instructor-led webinars and on-demand e-learning to educate individuals and workplaces on early detection strategies. As a result, one in four training participants identifies a health issue earlier, often when it’s more treatable and curable.

Originally targeting schools, colleges, and community organizations, DetecTogether has expanded its reach to workplaces and high-risk groups like firefighters, a population disproportionately affected by occupational cancer. With compelling anecdotal success stories and an emphasis on data-driven results, the organization is scaling its impact while addressing critical health disparities.

The Opportunity

DetecTogether seeks a visionary Vice President for Development to lead its fundraising initiatives, build on the organization’s momentum, and strategically expand its financial resources.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Vice President for Development will drive efforts to grow DetecTogether’s $3M annual budget, leveraging major gifts, corporate partnerships, foundation support, and signature events like the annual Gala and Golf tournament.

This position offers the unique opportunity to shape DetecTogether’s future growth and amplify its life-saving work. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented, relationship-driven leader with a track record of success in fundraising. By cultivating new donor relationships and enhancing stewardship programs, the Vice President will ensure the organization’s ability to meet its ambitious goals and make an even greater impact on early cancer detection.
