Founded in 2001 by Jessica Seinfeld, Good+Foundation addresses multigenerational poverty by pairing donations of critically needed goods with transformational services to help low-income parents create an upward trajectory for their children. Over the past 20 years, Good+Foundation has donated almost $45 million in children’s items to a national network of over 125 anti-poverty programs.
In recent years, Good+Foundation has focused on one of the root causes of family poverty — a father’s absence. Committed to upending multigenerational poverty, Good+Foundation uses an innovative approach to father engagement. Working with noncustodial and formerly incarcerated fathers, it partners with a national network of social service programs to give fathers the tools, dignity, and opportunities to re-engage with their families so that they can be the dads they want to be.
