The Opportunity

Rice University seeks an experienced and visionary Executive Director of Gift Planning to provide bold leadership in securing the University’s legacy through transformational philanthropy.

Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Development, the Executive Director will build and manage a high-performing team, build donor-centric relationships, and serve as a trusted advisor for asset-based and legacy giving opportunities.

This individual will oversee the development and implementation of an impactful gift-planning program while working closely with key campus stakeholders to achieve ambitious fundraising goals for Rice’s upcoming campaign.

This is a unique opportunity to spearhead innovative strategies, collaborate with institutional leaders, and expand the donor pipeline for planned and blended gifts, advancing Rice’s mission to positively impact future generations.
